Mark Suckerberg: Being Human is Hard!

This image is an absurd and surreal snapshot of alien confusion, this piece features an octopus-like creature—masked, multitasking, and utterly perplexed. Standing in a puddle of tea he spilled himself, the creature clutches a teacup in one tentacle while balancing his snack with another. Around him, angel food and devil’s food cake slices flutter through the room on tiny wings, mocking his attempts to fit in.

A playful critique of human expectations, societal weirdness, and maybe a certain tech billionaire’s uncanny public persona. As I told my sister recently “I guess I do social commentary these days.”

Longing

I’m honored to share that my piece “Longing” was created as a donation for the Montrose Center for Arts’ 2025 fundraiser. This event brought together so many incredible artists and supporters of the local arts community.

“Longing” was on display for just one day—Wednesday, February 12th, 2025—and I’m thrilled to say it sold within the first hour of the show opening. Moments like these remind me why I create: to connect, to contribute, and to be part of something bigger.

Supporting the arts means supporting the soul of our community. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening such a success!
