Project Purpose / Background

The Montrose Art Walk had declined in visibility and participation. Revitalization was needed to restore it as a community highlight. With the City of Montrose taking it on, changes to days and time were required- City Hall employees are expected to work Monday-Thursday, and most official Art Walks are on the first Friday of the month. The Art Walk revitalization came out as a Montrose-style reboot as the Second Thursday Montrose Art Crawl.
